Pancakes. Drooling. 

Bisquick embraced National Pancake Week with tailored content celebrating how easy it is to enjoy a happy moment while eating pancakes, not to mention all the creative ways you can add some oomph to your stack. I.e. "#shortcutotohappy." 

The creative below served as signs for an event and as shareable Pinterest posts — wanted design and copy to tap into the romance of pancakes in a Millennial way.

Check out my design/animation partner-in-crime's site to see these banner ads in action. It's way more fun and effective that way. I grabbed a couple screenshots regardless. 

The scoop is Old El Paso had two new product launches. But these tacos weren't just any tacos, the soft-shell tortilla tacos looked like little boats and the hard-shell tacos were bursting with finger-lickin' good nacho cheesy/cool ranch flavor. Static ads would not do.

We recommended we elevate the fun of these new products with animation in which I creative directed and wrote the copy.

When you sense opportunity, you seize it!

When I caught wind that the teacher making headlines whose first grade students sent Blair Walsh sympathy notes was a UNW alum, I knew this would make an excellent, fan-favorite content piece with a fresh angle. That same day I interviewed the teacher, wrote the article, collected photos, and generated ginormous buzz for UNW the following morning.

From one Facebook page post alone, we earned:

13k clicks on our post

1.2k "likes"

85 comments

85 new friends who began following the Facebook page in one weekend

540 clicks through to the article.

3:02-minute average bounce rate for click-through to article on UNW website. A tremendous leap from past CTRs.

Highest-interaction post from LinkedIn. Twitter rocked too with 15 retweets and 33 likes.

Betty Crocker has long been a part of the American family birthday. We were tasked to own this space with a new Millennial campaign and tone and prove that Betty Crocker hasn't gone anywhere when it comes to providing delicious birthday cakes, party ideas, and plenty of smiles.
